Directors Days

the success of your business depends on your leadership team

For leadership teams who want to think better, lead together, and operate at the right level

Your Directors don’t lack commitment, and they’re certainly not short on things to do. What they do lack, because almost every leadership team does, is space.

Space to think

Space to reflect, and space to step out of the noise of the day to day to grow and think as a team.

That’s exactly what Directors Days are designed for.

It’s not just about what you do as a leadership team…but how you do it!

You might notice that your Directors:

  • Are constantly busy, but rarely have headspace
  • Often work in silos
  • Stay close to operations instead of leading at the right level
  • Struggle to think collectively because everything feels urgent
  • Haven’t time to properly reflect on how they’re leading together

Nothing is “wrong”.

But something important is missing.

And over time, that shows up as:

  • Working in silo’s
  • Individual decision making
  • Frustration beneath the surface
  • and a leadership team that isn’t quite operating as one

A Directors Day is a one-day, in-person experience for a leadership team.

It’s a group coaching day blended with a workshop. It’s fun, reflective, practical, and focused on real behaviour rather than theory and honest conversation.

This is not a strategy day.
It’s not an operational planning session.
And it’s not leadership training.

The focus is on:

  • How the Directors show up
  • How they relate to each other
  • How responsibility flows through the team
  • And how their collective behaviour shapes the organisation

For Directors who want to lead as a team.

You want your leadership team to grow in confidence to take the business to the next level.

You want some time away from the day to day to develop and understand yourselves and each other better.

You value development as a team and taking time out to learn is important to you and the business.

How we work together

This isn’t another workshop, or team build. In fact, it’s so much more than that.

What I offer is a healthy fusion of coaching, mentoring, consulting and development all rolled into one day!

I’ve worked with thousands of Leaders over the years, from Managing Directors, CEO’s, Directors and Senior Managers to help them see things from a different perspective, upgrade their thinking, habits, and elevate as a high performing leader in their company, to get the results that they really want and need.

I also understand business, so everything we talk about is tied back into practical application. This isn’t just a nice day out.

Director days enable leaders to see their own behaviour from a different perspective, raise their self awareness and how they are impacting the people around them as well as the business, and to get together with their peers to improve how they work together as a team.

The sessions are free flowing and always go in the direction of the team whilst understanding the needs of the business. Sessions feel relaxed, and individuals are able to open up, and share, all whilst their thinking is being challenged.

Each person then leaves with their own actions to put into practice, and a team action plan for them to continue to work on after the session, and full accountability is put into place to ensure actions are taken and you don’t just go back to old ways of working.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, but they do have to be the most senior team in the business.

You could just have one if you like. Most companies book them in for every 4 months so you’re constantly re-connecting throughout the year.

Most companies prefer to go to a location away from work.

Relaxed, informal, fun, challenging, thought provoking, and safe. Although I get to know you and your teams challenges before-hand, I’m really adept at moving with the flow so what comes up and gets discussed is always what the team needs at that time. This is why so many companies have this as must have dates in their yearly calendar.
