Today I’m going to share one of my absolute favourite tools for improving productivity and it’s something that I use every single day….and that’s my alarm clock on my phone.
It doesn’t get any simpler than that!
For every piece of work that I do, I grab my alarm clock and decide how long it’s going to take me…and I set my clock and I get busy.
Then when the alarm goes on one of two things happens.
Either way, it’s a win.
It works every single time.
The key here is to not be over generous with the time you give yourself.
For example, if you’ve a report to write and you think that normally it’s going to take you half a day, have a go at giving yourself an hour and see how far you get, and then if you need more time give yourself another hour. You’ll probably be surprised at how much you can get done if you focus.
